Functional. Local. Intentional.

In Vancouver weather getting dressed isn’t just about style, it’s about strategy. Vancouver rain, the rhythm of the city, and the blend of urban lifestyle shape what I wear on my tours.

This is what Vancouver looks like on me: rain-ready, comfort-first, quietly refined.

As the founder of Historical Chinatown Tours and Masterclass Dumplings, my work is rooted in the outdoors, a lot of walking and being prepared for rain or sunshine.

The pieces I wear are layered to adjust to Vancouver’s environment: comfort, functional and elevated; all rooted in local brands that understand this city better than anyone.

Walking through Vancouver’s Chinatown and sharing its cultural and historical significance with others. Your clothing also becomes part of your professional toolkit.

That’s why I’m sharing with you, my favourite pieces. Each piece is designed to support movement, comfort, and protection from all elements.

Waterproof Jacket – Arc'teryx
When you live in Vancouver, waterproof isn’t optional, it’s essential. This jacket is lightweight, breathable, and built for unpredictable weather.

Everyday Basics – Lululemon
Comfort meets polish. These pieces move with me throughout the day, whether I’m working, walking, and/or transitioning between meetings.

Sweatshirt – Reigning Champ
A layering staple for cooler mornings. Structured, minimal, and quietly premium.

Waterproof Shoes – Vessi
Feet stays dry and very comfortable. These are essential for navigating through wet streets without sacrificing style.

Everyday Bag – Rains
Clean design, weatherproof, and practical. It carries everything I need and its simplicity looks chic.

The Location - Fiorino Italian Street Food
This image was taken in Vancouver Chinatown, behind me is Fiorino Italian Street Food, a local spot that reflects the charm and character, one of Vancouver’s most historic and culturally rich neighbourhoods.

Dressing for work doesn’t have to mean choosing between style and function. Vancouver has the best local brands to do both.
